Clone a medication to reuse the schedule faster
When two medicines share similar times, clone saves retyping. The copy still counts as another medication on the free plan.
In-app steps
- On the Meds list, start Clone for the medication you want to reuse.
- The app copies into TemporaryMed, resets category/customCategory, and clears intakeDateTime, then opens the clone_med Add flow.
- Adjust the name and any fields that should differ.
- Save. Confirm you still have room under the free max (default 3) or Premium.
- Review notifications after save so both meds alarm as intended.
Limitations
- Clone is blocked when free users are already at free_user_max_meds.
- Category is reset on clone - set labels again if you need them.
- Clone does not create a cloud shared copy for another person.
Smart Meds Reminder is a medication reminder and log. It is not medical advice and does not replace a qualified clinician or pharmacist.
