Expiration date reminders need paid Premium
If you want the app to store an expiration date and remind days before it, you need paid Premium entitlement. A trial that unlocks journal/package/doses is not enough for those Add medication fields.
In-app steps
- Confirm you have an active paid entitlement (not only trial).
- Open Add or Edit medication.
- Enter the expiration date from the package and the reminder days-before value.
- Save so MedExpiration is stored and the reminder can schedule.
- Treat the alert as a packaging logistics cue - discard or replace decisions follow the label and pharmacist guidance.
Limitations
- Expiration UI checks RevenueCatManager.hasActiveEntitlement - trial alone fails that check.
- This is not a minutes-before dose reminder.
- Do not invent shelf-life clinical rules in the app.
