What happens when a medication reminder fires
Smart Meds Reminder alerts you at the scheduled dose time. From that notification you can mark Taken or snooze five or ten minutes - not custom lengths.
In-app steps
- Save a medication with at least one schedule time so ExactAlarmManager can schedule the dose.
- Allow notifications and exact alarms when Android asks.
- When the alert appears, choose Taken to log that action, or snooze +5 / +10.
- Snooze reschedules a follow-up alarm for five or ten minutes later.
- You can also review logged statuses later in Intake Journal (Premium or trial).
Limitations
- Snooze lengths are fixed at 5 and 10 minutes.
- There is no remind-me-N-minutes-before-dose setting.
- OEM battery rules can affect exact alarm reliability.
Smart Meds Reminder is a medication reminder and log. It is not medical advice and does not replace a qualified clinician or pharmacist.
