Organize prescription times you already have
Copy the clock times from your prescription label into Smart Meds Reminder. The tool stores and reminds - it does not rewrite your clinician's instructions.
In-app steps
- Read the times on your label or pharmacy printout first.
- Open Add medication and enter the medicine name exactly as you recognize it.
- Enter schedule days and times to match that label.
- Put leftover label text into notes if helpful - or use OCR into notes, then edit.
- Save and confirm the first alert time matches what you intended.
Limitations
- OCR will not turn a prescription photo into structured clinical fields.
- If the label is unclear, ask the pharmacist - do not guess inside the app.
- Free max still applies for how many meds you store.
Smart Meds Reminder is a medication reminder and log. It is not medical advice and does not replace a qualified clinician or pharmacist.
FAQ
Can the app read my prescription like a pharmacist?
No. Optional OCR pastes raw text into name or notes. You confirm schedule fields yourself.
What if my clinician changes the times?
Edit the medication schedule to match the new instructions, then save so alarms update.
Does organizing times equal medical advice?
No. You are recording times you already received. The app is a reminder and log tool.
